How to Build a Pallet Bar
This DIY project is easy and cheap and you can use any pallets you have lying around. You can also use a few tools to help you out with this project, but they’re all beginner level and should be easy enough for anyone.
Materials:
-Pallets (some old ones will do)
-Screws or nails
-Hammer or mallet (optional)
Step 1: Measure your pallets. You need to make sure that the pallets are of the same size in order for them to fit together properly. The height should be somewhere between 30-40 cm if possible.
Step 2: Assemble your pallets together with screws or nails (or both). If you don’t have a screwdriver, try using a hammer instead – it’s still better than nothing!

Two pallets, preferably with a flat surface on each side (not all pallets are flat)
Sandpaper or sander
Paint for the wood slats (optional)
Stain for the wood slats (optional)
Screws or nails
2-3 feet of rope or chain
Pallet beds are a great way to save money and create a unique piece of furniture. You can build a pallet bed with just a few tools and some basic knowledge. The bed shown here features storage space underneath, but you can also build one without any storage.
The first step is to find the right pallets. You’ll want to choose ones that are in good condition, because they will be supporting your weight when you climb into bed. Look for ones that have been stacked horizontally on top of each other, not vertically. This will make it easier to cut them down to size.
Next, measure the length and width of your mattress (or futon), then subtract about two inches from each measurement for clearance around the edges for the slats. If you’re using full-size sheets, this will leave plenty of room for them to hang over the sides.
Once you’ve found pallets that fit your measurements, mark out where your slats need to be cut with chalk or pencil so you can get them straight while sawing them down with a circular saw or jigsaw.
When cutting down long pieces into shorter lengths, it’s best if they’re all cut at once so they’re all consistent in size and

What is a Pallet Bar?
A pallet bar is basically a long, narrow table made from wooden pallets. The top of the table is supported by an L-shaped frame made of 2x4s. The legs of this frame are attached to the underside of the pallets with screws or nails.
