How to get the digger drill:
1.Go to your base and use a shovel on the dirt in the middle.
2.Dig down until you get to bedrock, then mine it all out with a pickaxe.
3.Go back up and make sure there is no lava left at all! If there is, use water buckets or a water bottle to get rid of it.
4.Take some cobblestone from your inventory and place it down on top of the bedrock where there was lava before (this will make sure no monsters spawn there)
5.After this, make sure that nothing can come up through the floor when you’re not home by putting fences around everything but one space next to your door so that you can go through without having to go around anything else if you need to leave quickly for some reason (this will make sure no monsters spawn inside your base). You can also put fences on top of your stairs if they are tall enough so that monsters won’t be able to jump over them and attack; however this may cause lag due to how many blocks have been placed on top of each other.

The first thing you have to do is go to Jubilife City and talk to the man standing next to the building that looks like an airport terminal (the one with the rocket on it). He will give you a key item called the Digger Drill, which allows you to make secret bases in caves and other places where there are holes in the wall or ground.
The next thing you need is a Pokémon with the move “Rock Smash”. This can be learned by using TM29 (Rock Tomb), but most Pokémon that learn it also have it as an egg move (this means they can pass it down when they breed).
To use Rock Smash without having to teach it, just use one of these Pokémon:
Bonsly (Lv. 12)

The next step is to wait for a day or two (or longer if you want) until your base is fully built. To do this, talk to the person that appears in front of your base on the day after you’ve placed all the necessary furniture.
