Building a Arrow 10×8 shed floor kit is very easy as long as you follow the instructions provided by Arrow Sheds. Before starting construction, make sure that your shed foundation is level and stable. For this purpose, you can use a laser level or just check for any dips with a spirit level.

After leveling your foundation, put together the floor frame using the included hardware according to the instructions provided by Arrow Sheds.

Once the frame is in place you need to attach it to your foundation using bolts or screws provided by Arrow Sheds. Drill pilot holes through the bottom of each leg into your concrete or masonry surface before driving in screws or bolts to ensure that they penetrate deep enough into concrete so that they won’t pull out once weight is added to them (see image).

The Arrow Shed Base Kit is a simple and affordable way to build a strong, level shed foundation. It consists of four 4″ x 8″ pressure treated sleepers, each fitted with post caps and all required hardware for installation. The sleepers are laid in pairs on either side of the shed, spaced at 16″ intervals. An additional pair of sleepers is placed at the front and rear of the shed to give extra support. The sleeper base kit also includes two 2×6 top plates which can be used as joist hangers when installing flooring or as joists when installing wall panels.

Side walls are then attached to these posts at regular intervals using metal brackets, creating a secure structure that will last for many years. For additional strength we recommend that you use our Arrow Roof Brackets when installing the roof panels on your new shed; they’re quick and easy to install and will provide additional support when lifting heavy materials onto your new building.

Arrow 10×8 Shed Floor Kit Instructions

The Arrow 10×8 Base Kit comes with everything needed to add a floor to your Arrow shed. The floor kit includes two 2×6 pressure treated wood beams and 4″ x 4″ pressure treated wood posts (12″ long). These beams will sit on top of the concrete pad or slab that was installed for your base kit and support the weight of your shed. The flooring will be installed over these posts so make sure they are plumb and level when installing them!

The easiest way to build a shed is to start with a sturdy foundation. Arrow Sheds offers three different options. The first is the Arrow Base Kit, which is made of pressure-treated lumber and includes all hardware needed to install it.
