If you have an under-stairs cupboard, it can be difficult to find the right door. Here are some options for fitting a door under a staircase.

1.Under stairs cupboards with angled doors

This is the most common option for under stairs cupboards, especially in houses with flat ceilings. These doors don’t need any additional support and they tend to look great when installed properly.

So how do you make your own under stairs cupboard? Here are some easy methods:

1) The easiest way to make an under stairs cupboard is to build it yourself using wood planks and glue. Cut the planks into rectangles with angled edges so they fit together seamlessly when placed side by side. Then glue them together and seal them with a varnish or polyurethane finish so they’re waterproof and durable enough for everyday use.

2) If you don’t have room for a full-sized door, you can always go for a smaller one! One option is to use a sliding door for under stairs storage – these are easy to install and cost less than solid doors because they don’t need hinges or handles etc.. You just slide them open when needed!

This is a very simple and easy project, but it will take you some time because there are many steps. You need to first measure your door, then cut the pieces of wood. Then you will have to sand them and paint them. After that you should put them together, and attach them to the wall. Here is how:

Measure your door. Take the measuring tape and measure the width of your door. Then measure its height, including any trim around it. Take these measurements and write them down on a piece of paper. This will be helpful later when cutting the pieces from your wood supply.

Cutting your wood supply pieces. Once you have taken all of these measurements, go ahead and cut out all of the necessary pieces from your wood supply using a saw or other cutting tool (e.g., jigsaw). Make sure that each piece has an exact match on its opposite side so that they can be put together with glue later on.

Step 1: Take Measurements

Measure the width and height of the opening between the stairs and the floor. You can use this information to determine what size door you need. For example, if you have an opening that measures 24 inches by 36 inches, then you will need a 36-inch wide door with a 24-inch high top rail. If you are planning on installing an angled cupboard door, then simply double these measurements.

Step 2: Decide on Your Material

There are several materials that work well for under stair storage including wood, metal and plastic. Each material offers its own advantages and disadvantages so it is up to you which one works best for your needs and budget.

Materials Needed:

Two pieces of plywood or particle board that fit together and are wide enough for the area beneath your stairs (one piece should be slightly wider than the other)

A drill and bits for drilling pilot holes for screws; a saw for cutting out holes for hinges and latches; an electric screwdriver

I have a bedroom with a small closet under the stairs. I wanted to put a door on it but all of the doors I found were too tall and blocked the space. So here is what I did:

I bought two pieces of plywood and framed out a door. Then I used some scrap wood to make a frame around the outside so that it would match the other doors in the house.

I used a piece of trim to cover up where the two pieces joined together, and caulked around the outside to make sure no moisture got in.

I painted it white so it matches everything else in the house!
