1. Cut the plywood sheet into two parts and then cut out one part from each piece of plywood sheet by using the jigsaw machine.
2. After that, mark out the position of the hinges on both sides of the upper panel and then drill holes at marked position with help of drill machine or jigsaw machine.
3. After drilling holes, place the hinges on both sides of upper panel at marked positions and then fix it with screws or nails by using screwdriver or hammer.
4. After fixing hinges, take another piece of plywood sheet and make a hole at middle section by using jigsaw machine or drill machine as per your requirement so that you can hang your door easily on wall with help of this hole later on when it is ready for hanging purpose as shown in following picture below:

Materials Needed:
Two pieces of plywood or particle board that fit together and are wide enough for the area beneath your stairs (one piece should be slightly wider than the other)
Four hinges with screws that fit into the plywood or particle board; two hinge plates; one latch with screws that fit into the plywood or particle board
A drill and bits for drilling pilot holes for screws; a saw for cutting out holes for hinges and latches; an electric screwdriver
I have a bedroom with a small closet under the stairs. I wanted to put a door on it but all of the doors I found were too tall and blocked the space. So here is what I did:
I bought two pieces of plywood and framed out a door. Then I used some scrap wood to make a frame around the outside so that it would match the other doors in the house.
I used a piece of trim to cover up where the two pieces joined together, and caulked around the outside to make sure no moisture got in.
I painted it white so it matches everything else in the house!
