The cube storage is super simple to make and you can use any size, height or width of wood you have on hand.
I made mine out of 2×4’s but you could also use 1×4’s or even larger lumber if you wanted to build a taller cube.
I used 2″ pocket holes on each side and then just nailed in some trim pieces to cover them up (you could also use pocket hole plugs).
To make the door, I cut two pieces of plywood down to size and then attached them together with a piano hinge so that they opened inwards towards each other (so that when closed they would be flush against each other).
