The key to using amazon fulfillment centers is to get the right sized shipping boxes. If you use a smaller box, you’ll spend more on shipping costs, but if you use a larger box it will take up more space in the fulfillment center and reduce the amount of units you can place on an individual pallet.
Plenty of Amazon sellers are using Different Label sizes for their Amazon FBA shipments. While this is not a mandatory, it does make tracking your order much easier for yourself and Amazon sellers do face issues with this from time to time. Here we discuss on amazon fba label size requirements, amazon fba labels, amazon fba label size avery.
What size shipping labels should I buy for amazon fba
Amazon has specific requirements for the labels that you use on your products. You can find them here: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201107660
To make sure your labels are compatible with Amazon’s requirements, we recommend using one of our Avery® product lines or an equivalent product line listed below:
Avery® 5160 – 5162 – 5165 – 5166 – 7270 – 6351 – 6352 – 6353 – 6355 – 5770 – 5775
Amazon FBA Label Requirements
Amazon does not have any specific requirements for the size of shipping labels that you use. However, you should make sure that your label is large enough to fit all of your product information. The easiest way to check this is by printing out a sample label before you buy your labels.
The standard size for an Amazon FBA shipping label is 2 inches by 4 inches. This is the same size used by most other companies as well as by many USPS services as well. These include Priority Mail and Parcel Post. If your label is larger than this then it will not fit correctly on an Amazon box or pallet.
In addition to being too small, if your label has too much blank space around it then it will not be readable by Amazon’s scanners at the fulfillment center where they scan each package before sending it out for delivery to customers. This can result in delays in getting your products shipped out and ultimately lost sales if customers do not receive their orders on time or at all.
The Amazon FBA label size requirement is 2″ x 3.5″ inches.
The Amazon FBA label requirements are slightly different from the regular size.
The labels must be 2″ x 3.5″ inches and contain the following information:
-Name of the product (this is not the brand name, but rather a phrase describing the product).
-Manufacturer name (if you manufacture your own product). This can also be a supplier that you purchase from if you do not want to list your company information on your products.
-Item number (this should be unique for every item that you sell).
-UPC code. If you do not have one, Amazon will assign one for you.
The Amazon FBA label is a legal requirement for shipping products to Amazon. The label must include the following information:
The product identifier, which is the same as the SKU on your inventory management system. This must be unique and consistent with every other product in your inventory.
Your company name, if you have one. It can also be left blank if you don’t have a company name.
The ship from address, which should match your primary business address. This is not where packages will be shipped from, but rather where they will be printed and mailed from. You can use your home address if you don’t have a business office yet or if you’re just getting started with FBA and only want to ship from home for now.
The package weight in pounds or kilograms (whichever is appropriate for your country).
Amazon FBA labels are barcoded and printed on white 20lb paper. The smallest label size is 2”w x 1”h and the largest is 4”w x 2”h.
The maximum label height you can use on Amazon is 3 inches.
The maximum label width you can use on Amazon is 2 inches.
The minimum label height allowed is 2 inches.
Amazon has specific label requirements that you’ll need to follow. If your labels don’t meet these guidelines, they might be rejected. Here’s what you need to know:
Label Size and Formatting
The standard label size for Amazon FBA is 2″ x 3″ or 3″ x 4″. The label can be on one or two sides of the shipping box, depending on where it’s placed (top or bottom). To place a label on two sides of your shipping box, you’ll use an adhesive label with a permanent adhesive on one side and a removable adhesive on the other side. This allows you to remove the label from one side of the box without damaging it so that you can reuse it later on another shipment.
Labels must be printed in black ink only and must be legible from at least 6 inches away from the box (when placed face-up).
Amazon FBA Labels
Amazon FBA labels are required for all products that you sell on Amazon. These labels should include your Amazon Seller Central account number, SKU number, weight, and dimensions. The label also needs to indicate whether the product is hazardous material. You’ll also want to include your return address and contact phone number so that customers can easily reach you if they have any issues with their order.
Avery Label Stock
You can buy Avery label stock in many different sizes, but Amazon requires a 2″ x 4″ size for FBA labels. There are many different types of Avery label stock available, but we recommend using white paper with permanent adhesive backing so that your labels don’t fall off during shipping.
