Valheim Dedicated Server With Mods

Valheim is a role-playing game that has been developed by a German company named King Art Games. It is an open world game with a medieval setting, which means that you will be able to explore the vast world of Valheim freely. You can choose from four different character classes – warrior, rogue, mage and priest – each with their own unique skills and abilities.

The game has been released for PC and consoles, but now it’s available on Steam as well. If you want to play it on your computer, then you will need a special server for hosting your own dedicated server or for connecting to someone else’s dedicated server.

Valheim is a 2D RPG with roguelike elements, inspired by the classic Diablo series. You can play as one of four classes with unique abilities and find random weapons, armor and other items on your way. You can choose from many different skills to build your character.

The game is currently in development and will be released in 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

How to add mods to valheim dedicated server

The first step is to download the mod you want to use.

You need to unzip the file and place it in the game folder. If you want to play with more than one mod, then you just need to create a new folder and place the mod in there.

Now it’s time for you to launch your game, but before that, go into the settings of your game. In here, you can change many things of your game, like:

Resolution – Change resolution of your client-side output (e.g., window size).

Anti-Aliasing – Enables anti-aliasing for the client-side output (only available if using OpenGL). You can choose from None, 2x MSAA or 4x MSAA.

Vertical Sync – Toggles vertical syncronization for reducing screen tearing artifacts when running at high framerates (e.g., 120 Hz). It will also reduce overall performance if disabled.

This tutorial is for how to get the best experience with a modded version of Valheim.

A good way to start is by downloading a modpack and installing it.

1) Download the latest version of the modpack from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7gjw1s0d716xc2v/Valheim%20Mod%20Pack.zip?dl=0

2) Unzip it into your Valheim folder (or wherever you want really) so that you have a ‘valheim’ folder with a bunch of extra folders and files in there, like this:

3) Run Valheim as normal and select ‘Custom Server’ from the list of options, then choose your map from the list (I recommend starting on Vermillion). You should see all these mods listed under ‘Customize’.
