Step 1: Open your Steam client and log into your Steam account.
Step 2: Click on “Games” at the top of the screen and select “Manage Game”.
Step 3: Wait until all games have finished downloading/updating and then right click on “Valheim” and select “Properties”.
Step 4: Select “Local Files” tab and click on “Browse Local Files…” button, it will open up a new window. Here go to Binaries folder and delete all files within that folder.

I have a dedicated server, which I have been trying to port forward for about a week now. It is not showing up on Valheim’s community list and I am using the default ports. Can anyone help me?

The only way I can connect to my own server is by using IP address instead of hostname, which is not very convenient for players who want to find my server in their game browser (e.g. 7 Days To Die).
The port forwarding not working issue is a common problem with most of the dedicated server providers. This issue is mainly caused by the security measures put in place by your internet service provider.
It is a good practice to double check if you have enabled the port forwarding correctly by following the steps below:
1. Log in to your control panel and click on ‘Add New Server’.
2. Click on ‘Create’ button to add a new server.
3. Select an operating system – Select Windows OS (if you want to install a game like 7 Days To Die).
4. Enter a name for your server and then click next button to continue with the process of adding a new server..
5. Input the IP address of your server into input field provided at bottom side of page and click next button again..
6. Enter port number which you want to use for your 7 days to die dedicated server and then click next button one more time..(Port can be anything from 1025 up to 65535)..
