Upload WordPress With Filezilla

The application can also be used to transfer files between two remote computers via the command line interface (CLI).

You can use FileZilla to transfer files between your server and local computer, or between two remote servers.
To connect to your website with FileZilla:
1. Open FileZilla by double clicking the icon on your desktop or in the start menu.
2. When FileZilla opens, you will see an empty window with a list of sites at the left hand side of the screen.
3. Click on “New Site”, then enter your FTP details into the fields provided (Hostname: ftp://username@yourdomainnamehere; Username: username; Password: password)
4. Click “Connect” when done
Using Filezilla to upload WordPress
WordPress is a free and open source content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL. It is used to create and manage websites.
FileZilla is a free FTP client for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and other platforms.
Steps:
In the left panel select “Site Manager” or “Sites” from the drop down menu.
Now click on “New Site” in the right hand side of the screen.
You will now see a dialog box pop up where you need to enter the name of your site, in our case we have given it the name “example.com”. You also need to enter an email address that will be associated with this site so that you can receive emails if there are any problems with it or if someone needs access to it. Click OK when done.
