Upload Website Using Cpanel

Do you have a website? If you don’t, you should get one. To get it up and running you need two things: a domain name and hosting. Having a domain name is fairly simple; if you’ve got ideas (or selfies) to share on the interwebs, then you need to register some domains and post your content there.

Upload Website Using Cpanel

You can upload your website using Cpanel. Cpanel is the most popular web hosting software in the world. To upload your website using Cpanel, you will need to have your domain name registered and web hosting account with a hosting company.

You can upload your website using cpanel by simply opening your web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome) and logging into your hosting account (cPanel). Once you are logged into your hosting account, you should see a bunch of different options and links on the top left side of your screen. Click on Filesystems under File Management section.

Next click on Web Directories link under Directories section. This will bring up a list of all the directories that you can use to host websites on your web server. Click on New Directory button at the bottom of this page to add a new directory for storing files related to your website. Now it is time to give this directory a name so that it would be easy for you to identify it later on when needed. You can also give this directory an extension such as .html or .php which will tell us about the type of files that are allowed in it by default.

This will check if all the required fields are filled correctly and also make sure that there are no errors in them before proceeding further with uploading your files through FTP client (more about this later).

5. If there are no errors now then it means that everything is good and ready for further steps starting from step 6 onwards below which will guide you through how to upload files using FileZilla client which is one of the most popular FTP clients used by webmasters around the world today.
