With Godaddy hosting now being available from Shopify and coupled with their great prices on domain names I thought I’d give it a go. As our business has only existed for a few months we were using HIB as our hosting.
Shopify With Godaddy
Shopify is a great e-commerce platform that has helped many start their businesses and expand their businesses. The platform is easy to use, and it offers a lot of features. However, if you want to run your business from a different domain name, then you can use Shopify with Godaddy.
Shopify is a popular ecommerce platform that allows you to sell your products online with ease. It’s not free, but it is affordable. The basic Shopify plan costs $9 per month and includes unlimited products and orders, 100 GB of bandwidth and SSL encryption.
Shopify says its platform can be used for any type of business but has a particular focus on selling physical goods. If you’re selling digital products or services, you might have better luck with a different platform like BigCommerce or Squarespace – both of which are less expensive than Shopify.
The best part about using Shopify is that it’s easy to get started and doesn’t require any technical knowledge or coding skills. That said, if you do want to customize your store’s look and feel, there’s also a wide range of themes available for purchase from within the service itself (or from third-party providers).
Another benefit of Shopify is that it integrates with many third-party apps including MailChimp, Salesforce and Stripe; so if you already use one of those services in your business there’s probably no need to switch over to another solution just because you’ve decided to start selling online too
How to Transfer Shopify Domain to Godaddy?
To transfer your Shopify domain to Godaddy, you need to update your DNS settings on both platforms. This means that when someone tries to access your website from their browser, the DNS will direct them to the right place. If you don’t change this setting, then people visiting your site will see an error page instead of seeing the contents of your website.
The first thing that you need to do is log into both platforms using the same account credentials (username and password). Then go to “Manage Domains” section on Shopify admin panel and click on “Manage” button next to your domain name.
