Cpanel Mail Server Configuration
First of all, go to your cPanel Control Panel and click on the Email section. You can see a panel like this:
You will see that there are two options: Mail Server and Roundcube Webmail. The first one allows you to use your own mail server, while the second one is for those who do not have a mail server or want to use a webmail client instead of a desktop application like Outlook or Thunderbird. Sign in to your Godaddy account, click on Services and then click on Mail. You will see a list of all the domains that you have registered with Godaddy. Scroll down till you find “Mail Forwarding Settings” and click it.
A new page will open up where you will see an option named “Forward your mail”. Click it and then click on “Add a forwarding address”.
You can either enter an email address or use an existing one by clicking on “Use an existing address” link at the bottom right corner of the page. You can also choose whether or not you want all messages sent to this address or only those sent by contacts inside your account
1. Login to your Cpanel account and click on the Email Accounts link.
2. You will be redirected to the Email Accounts page. Click on Manage E-mail Forwarders button.
3. You will be redirected to email forwarder management page, here you can add or remove any forwarder from your account.
4. To add a new forwarder, click on Add Forwarder button and fill up the details as shown below:
5. Now enter the destination address in Destination Email Address field and enter your From Name field with any name that you want it to appear in recipient’s mailbox, then click on Add New Forwarder button at bottom of page.
6. Now you need to configure MX records for your domain so that messages can be forwarded through SMTP servers of other domains (if any). In order to do so, go back to main cpanel page and click on Domains link under Services section on left sidebar menu or directly go to https://cpanel1–domain-name–com/domains/manage/#mx
