Hello everyone, this is my first blog post on my new blog. I am a teacher and I have been teaching for around 15 years. I have taught in the US, Philippines, and Thailand. I am currently working in Thailand at an international school with all English speaking teachers.
I have been using this lesson plan for many years now with different groups of students and it has always been successful.
In this lesson plan we are going to be learning about fruits in kindergarten but before that, we need to do some activities that will help us learn the names of fruits and vegetables in English so that later on when they go home they can share what they learned with their parents.
Here are the activities:
1) We will be doing an activity where we will be looking at pictures of fruits and vegetables and see if they can name them or tell us what it looks like. This activity is so important because it helps them develop their vocabulary as well as identify what something looks like (which is very important for their lives). If your child is not interested in fruits and vegetables then you can just skip this part altogether or try another activity which might interest them more (like counting or drawing).

Fruits and Vegetables
Fruits and vegetables are a great way to introduce healthy eating habits to children. They are also a great way to introduce students to a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. This lesson plan is designed to teach students the difference between fruits and vegetables, as well as their health benefits.
Lesson Objectives:
-Students will be able to identify different types of fruits and vegetables by sight or by name.
-Students will be able to compare the nutritional value of different types of fruits and vegetables.
-Students will be able to describe how eating more fruits and vegetables can improve their overall health.
Fruits and vegetables are a great source of vitamins. They are also low in fat and calories, making them an excellent choice for snacks.
The following lesson plan is designed to teach students about fruits and vegetables. It can be used to teach younger children about nutrition or as an activity for older students in school.
You will need:
A classroom set of fruit and vegetable printouts. You can find these at the end of this article.
A copy of the vocabulary sheet for each student (also found at the end).
Paper plates and utensils for each student.
Fruits and vegetables are important foods that children need to eat. The lesson plan below can be used as an introduction to fruits and vegetables or as a follow up to the lesson on food groups.
The first part of this lesson is an activity where students will be able to draw pictures of different fruits and vegetables. The second part of the activity includes a short quiz where students have to identify which fruits and vegetables are healthy and which ones are not.

The fruits and vegetables lesson plan is designed for grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The lesson is a good way to teach children the names of different types of fruits and vegetables. The children will learn how to draw pictures of fruits and vegetables using colored pencils. The drawing sheets are available in both English (UK) and American dialects.
The lesson plan includes a list of fruits and vegetables along with their corresponding colors. It also contains a set of worksheets that can be used by the teacher to teach the kids how to draw different types of fruits and vegetables. The lesson plan is designed for preschoolers through kindergarten children who need help learning their colors.
This is a great lesson for your students to learn about fruits and vegetables. It’s also a great way to get them to practice writing the letters in their name using the sidewalk chalk.
0. Print out the fruit and vegetable prints template.
1. Have students write their names on each fruit and vegetable in the printable picture with sidewalk chalk or watercolor crayons. Students will be able to trace over the words with their hands if they don’t want to use chalk or paint.
2. Have students write sentences about each picture on a separate piece of paper that you could include in your class fruit and vegetable book or bulletin board display!
