When it comes to DIY projects, DIY furniture and DIY home decorating ideas, pallets are one of the most popular items. They’re easy to find, they’re free and they can be used for so many different things!

Pallets are used for shipping purposes, so if you have some friends in the shipping business or if you’re willing to take a trip to your local recycling facility or dump, you could probably pick up a few pallets fairly easily. For this project I only needed two pallets, but I would recommend picking up at least three so that you have some extra pieces left over if you need them later on in the build process.

Next we need to sand down all of those rough edges! It’s important that everything is nice and smooth so there aren’t any splinters or splinters waiting to happen when someone gets too
