Build Your Foundation
The very first thing we are going to do is build a foundation for our house out of cobblestone blocks. The base should be at least 3 blocks high so that when we add stairs later on, they look like they belong there and not just randomly thrown on top of your house.

Draw Your Plans
The first thing that we need to do is draw our plans for the Japanese house. You could use any software program for this purpose, but if you don’t have access to any programs or simply don’t want to spend money on them then there’s an easier way! All you have to do is follow these simple steps:
1. Make sure that your land is flat and level
2. Place down some blocks (preferably stone bricks) in an area where there will be no other buildings or objects within 100 blocks from your building site (this will make things easier when placing down blocks later).
3. Now get rid of all those blocks except one and place it somewhere where it won
