1) Remove the drawers from the dresser. You can either remove them by hand or take them apart with a screwdriver.

Wooden slats – these are available from most home improvement stores and come in various sizes depending on what type of potting bench you want. We bought ours from B&Q (part number 85813). You’ll need enough slats so that they cover all four sides of the dresser plus extra for the back panel (as there
