How to Build a Foundation in Sims 4

A foundation is a structure that lies under your home to support it. It is not required for all houses, but it can be helpful if you want to make sure your house looks great, or if you want to add some things like stairs. You can build a foundation in the Sims 4 very easily by following these steps:

Step 1: Find an empty lot and purchase it from the map.

Step 2: Go into Build Mode using your controller or computer mouse.

Step 3: Select the foundation tool from the left side of the screen.

Step 4: Click on where you would like your foundation to be placed on your lot. You can either place it on top of grass or dirt depending on what area of the lot you want it in. The green dots indicate where you can put a foundation and where you cannot put one. Don’t worry about placing foundations too close together because they will automatically merge together when you start building with them anyway!

The foundation is the first step in building a house. You can also use it to remodel your home. You can build a foundation on any lot, even if it’s not on land that you own. You’ll need a hammer and a blueprint of your chosen type of floor plan.

If you’re building a new house from scratch, you’ll have to start with a foundation. In order to do so, find an empty area where you want your house to be built and click on “Build” under Build Mode. Select “Foundation” from the menu that appears, then choose whether you’d like a wooden or concrete foundation.

Once you’ve chosen your foundation material, place it by clicking on the ground where you want it placed. You’ll see an outline of what will become the actual house when it’s finished being built; this outline will always be one tile in width and two tiles long (three tiles long if using concrete). If you need to change its position after placing it down, just click on it again and move it around as necessary until you get it right where you want it before continuing with the rest of your home building process.Sims 4 Build Mode: Tutorials for Houses and Landscaping
