One of the first things to do in The Sims 4 is to set up your home. Here are some tips and tricks for building an apartment with a balcony, a porch and an awning.

You can add a porch to your house by using the ‘Add Floor’ tool on the lot editor. Once you have added it go into Edit Town Mode and click on the porch and select ‘Edit’ and then ‘Delete’. You can then add another floor above this.

Building a second floor is pretty easy. You can either use the stairs or the elevator. When using the stairs you’ll have to place it on one of the walls of your house. If you want to build it on an empty space, then you can use the wall next to it. The best thing about building a second floor is that you can build as many as you want.
Here are some tips on how to build a second floor in The Sims 4:
Make sure that there are no other stairs around your lot so that your sims will not get confused when trying to go up or down from their house. If there are other stairs, then they will go up and down them instead of yours!
Make sure that your lot isn’t too small or too big because this will make it harder for your sims to go up or down their apartment or house. If it’s too small, then they will have trouble going through doors and windows; if it’s too big, then they won’t be able to find their way around their home easily!
The only thing left for you to do now is decorate your new home!

The Sims 4: Build Mode Tutorial: How to Build a Balcony – Part 1 of 3. In this tutorial we will be building a balcony for our living room.
This is part 1 of 3, so you can expect more tutorials on how to build other kinds of balconies in the future!
After watching this video, you should be able to build a simple balcony like the one shown in the picture below. You’ll need some floor tiles (any color will do), wall tiles (any color will do), windows and doors and a staircase!
1. How to Build a Balcony
A balcony is a great addition to any home and can be built in just a few steps. To build one, head over to Build mode and select the lot you want to work on. Once you have selected the lot, press the X button on your controller or tap on the Build button at the top of your screen. Once in Build mode, choose the foundation you would like for your home and press down on the left thumbstick or tap on “Build” in the lower right corner of your screen.
Once you have placed your foundation (or slab), you can begin adding walls and windows.
For this tutorial, we will be using a simple 4×4 room with one window:
After placing your walls, let’s add our first balcony railing:
Now we will need to add some stairs leading up our balcony so that Sims can walk up there:
Once those stairs are done (and maybe some railings) we can start working on adding railings or handrails around our balcony:
A second floor is a great way to expand your home and add space. You can also make your sims more comfortable in their new home by adding features like balconies, porches and awnings.
To build a second floor in the Sims 4, you need to have enough money to purchase an apartment lot. You can buy apartments from the buydebug cheat or create them using the Create A World tool. Once you have bought an apartment, you will be able to build a second level on top of it.
First, click on any empty space on the ground floor and then press Shift + S to open up the build mode menu. Select Floor / Roof and choose Add Floor / Roof from the menu that appears. This will add a new floor above your existing one which you can then decorate just like your first floor was decorated before.

The second floor can be used as an additional space for your Sim’s home. So if you want to make your house bigger, then this is what you need!

How to Build a Second Floor in Sims 4
1. Click on the foundation of your house and select build. You can also hit Ctrl + B on your keyboard.
2. A menu will pop up with the following options: upper floor, roof, foundation, and stairs. Select upper floor.
3. The lower level of your house should be highlighted in blue, then click and drag to create a rectangle around the foundation of your house, as shown below:
4. Once you have created an outline for the second floor, click on it to select it and then click on the wall tool (the one with two arrows pointing away from each other). This will bring up a menu where you can choose what type of wall you want (wood, concrete or brick). You can also choose how long you want them (short or tall). I chose short walls because they look better than tall walls when viewed from above or below them (see image below):
The Sims 4 has a few options for building. You can make a simple house, or you can use the build mode to make your own custom home. If you’re looking to build a second floor in The Sims 4, there are three different methods to do this.
There are two ways to go about building a second floor: using the foundation tool and using a staircase. Both of these are easy enough to use, but they do require some planning ahead of time. Before you start building your second floor, make sure you have enough room for it in your lot!
The first option is to use the foundation tool and place foundation around your house. This creates an area where you can build on top of it later on down the line. You’ll need 2×2 squares of space around all four sides of your house in order for this method to work properly — otherwise, your sims won’t be able to walk up onto their new second story!
Once you’ve got that done and saved your progress, head over into Build Mode and start building upwards from there! You can place walls along the outside edge of what will be the second story of your home, then place stairs between them (or just leave them open).

The Sims 4 Roof Decorating Ideas can be a fun way to add some style to your home and make it more interesting. You can choose from many different styles and colors, so you can create the perfect look for your home.
If you have the Sims 4 Seasons Expansion Pack, then you will also have access to some really cool roof decorations. These are a great way to add some style and flair to your house without having to spend hours decorating it yourself.
There are two ways that you can get these items:
You can either purchase them from the catalogue or build them yourself using blueprints. The blueprints are found under Buy Mode -> Build/Buy tab -> Architecture -> Building Planner category on the left hand side of the screen (under Decorations).
Once you have placed them on your lot, they will automatically be added as part of the structure itself (so they won’t be removable).
