1)Place the blocks of your choice on the ground and make a 3×3 square.
2)Put a Redstone Torch on top of one of the blocks.
3)Dig down 1 block below where you want your door to be and put a Stone Pressure Plate there.
1. First step is to craft a door and place it in a 3 × 3 square.
2. Place a pressure plate on top of the door, then place a lever on top of that, with the pressure plate facing the lever.

Build two lines of redstone dust around the door by placing blocks above where the lines will go (see image), then place redstone dust between them (see image). Then connect each piece of redstone dust to another piece at either end using more redstone dust (see images above).
5. Finally, connect each side of your automatic door to the pressure plate using more redstone dust (see image).
