How to build a automatic door in minecraft

Minecraft is one of the most popular games in history, and not just because you can build anything you can imagine. This tutorial will cover how to make an automatic door that opens when your player gets close to it.

When we talk about Minecraft automatic doors, there are 2 options that players commonly use. Those 2 options are the door switch and the pressure plate. What’s frustrating is these 2 options aren’t what I’d call automatic in the way you might think – they only work when a player approaches them. The first problem with this is that sometimes you’ll end up trapped behind the door! The second problem with this is they’re not automated at all – they take constant attention to keep closed. So when you see /r/MinecraftAutomaticDoor in the title of a post, you should know it’s going to be a little bit different from most automatic doors on reddit.

1x Redstone Dust

1x Wooden Plank

The first thing you want to do is place down your redstone dust on the ground. Next, place down your wooden plank and then place your iron ingot on top of it. In this tutorial I will teach you how to make a simple automatic door using Sculks sensor. This is the easiest and fastest way for me to build an automatic door.

Step 2: Then we place two iron bars on top of those blocks.

How to make an automatic door in minecraft without pressure plate

1)Place the blocks of your choice on the ground and make a 3×3 square.

2)Put a Redstone Torch on top of one of the blocks.

3)Dig down 1 block below where you want your door to be and put a Stone Pressure Plate there.

1. First step is to craft a door and place it in a 3 × 3 square.

2. Place a pressure plate on top of the door, then place a lever on top of that, with the pressure plate facing the lever.

3. Next, take a redstone torch, place it next to the lever, then place another one beside it (see image).

4. Now you need to connect all four sides of your door with redstone dust. Build two lines of redstone dust around the door by placing blocks above where the lines will go (see image), then place redstone dust between them (see image). Then connect each piece of redstone dust to another piece at either end using more redstone dust (see images above).

5. Finally, connect each side of your automatic door to the pressure plate using more redstone dust (see image).
