Both parks opened in 2014 with an estimated cost of $500 million each.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter features three rides: the Forbidden Journey (a dark ride), Flight of the Hippogriff (a family coaster), and Dragon Challenge (a roller coaster). There are also several attractions that don’t involve rides: Ollivander’s Wand Shop, Butterbeer Shop and The Three Broomsticks Restaurant.
