Google has launched its own domain hosting service on top of Google Cloud Platform. The service is called Google Domains, and it’s currently in beta.

Google Domains was first announced in October 2016 as a project from Google to provide domain registration services.[2] It was officially released on December 16, 2016.[3] The service was initially only available to users in the United States, but it has since expanded to other countries.[4]
The initial launch had several technical issues that were resolved over the course of the next few days.[5][6] On January 10, 2017, Google announced that it had acquired Wildcard SSL certificates for all domains registered through its service.[7] In March 2017, Google announced that it would begin offering email forwarding services along with its existing DNS controls.[8]
On May 5th 2018, Google announced that it would be adding .blog domains to its portfolio of extensions available for registration through the platform. This followed their acquisition of Blogger which was subsequently integrated into G Suite[9].
