Bifold Door Designs
There are several different designs for bifold doors available on the market today, including:
Sliding Bifolds: These types of bifolds fold in half like a door and slide along tracks on either side of your opening. They’re perfect for small spaces because they take up only as much space as they need (one panel) when they’re closed.

If you have an existing glass door and are looking to add privacy, you can easily install a fabric panel. The process is the same for any type of door, whether it’s a sliding door or bifold.
To install a fabric panel on your door:
1. Draw a line 1/4-inch from the edge of the glass panel that faces out. This will be the seam where you will attach your fabric panel. If there is already a seam in place, make sure your new seam is at least 2 inches away from it (or remove it altogether).
2. Measure from one side of the glass panel to the other and cut two pieces of fabric that are slightly larger than your measurement so they can easily wrap around both sides of the glass panel when sewn together.
3. Pin each piece of fabric along its short edge onto the backside of one side of the glass panel, with right sides together and raw edges aligned with raw edges (photo 1). Sew around all four edges with a 1/4-inch seam allowance (photo 2). Repeat with remaining piece of fabric on other side of glass panel (photo 3). Turn right side out through open seam
