Building a medieval castle in Minecraft survival has always been a challenge for me… most of the time, it ends up just looking like a pile of blocks with a few towers sticking out. I won’t lie, I’m pretty happy when I get something that looks semi-decent. However, the castle shown here is something else! It was created by the one and only “Boyar_Vlad” And let me tell you, he’s done an amazing job. You don’t see this kind of architecture built inside Minecraft every day. Quite frankly, it’s hard to believe that this is even possible to build inside Minecraft!

How to build a medieval castle in minecraft
In this tutorial we will be building a medieval castle in Minecraft. We will be using the vanilla texture pack and the Minecraft default tools to create the castle. This is an easy step by step tutorial for beginners who want to learn how to build a medieval castle.
The first thing we need to do is gather our resources. In order to build a castle, we need lots of cobblestone, wood planks and stone bricks. To find these resources, you can either mine them or trade with villagers (we will cover trading later).
There are a lot of ways to build a castle in Minecraft. The easiest is to use the /setblock command to create a wall and then use the /fill command to fill it with blocks. You can do this by typing /setblock 1 1 1 castle_walls and then filling in the gaps with blocks by typing /fill castle_walls minecraft:stone .
This will create a simple stone wall around your castle, but you can also add features like doors, windows and other decorative features.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to build a medieval castle in Minecraft. The design is inspired by the Tarn Crag castle in North Yorkshire, England. It’s a very easy build and you should be able to complete it in a couple of hours.
The first thing you need to do is gather the materials needed for this project. You will need:
A lot of cobblestone (at least 200 blocks)
A lot of sand (also at least 200 blocks)
Some wood planks (100+)
Some stone bricks (50+)
Building a castle in Minecraft is a great way to add some medieval flair to your world. If you’re looking for a project that will take more than one day, this is it! A castle can be built just about any where and it’s easy to make variations of it.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how you can build a medieval castle in Minecraft survival mode using screenshots and step by step instructions.
The first thing you need to do is find an area that is flat and has good access to water since we will need water for later on. You also want the area to be large enough for what you want to build (the size of the castle depends on how big your map is).
Next, start digging down at least 20 blocks until you reach bedrock. Once there dig down another layer of 20 blocks so that the bottom layer is completely flat with bedrock on all sides. This will be your foundation for the walls of your castle.
Now that you have your foundation done it’s time to start building! Start making straight walls out of cobblestone or stone bricks and place them on top of each other so they form a wall around the edge of your foundation (see screenshot below).
Next, use the wood to make wooden planks. Then use the planks to make stairs (I made them 16 blocks long). In order to make these stairs look more realistic, you can add a railing around the top of them (I made it one block thick). Then use some more wood and make fences around the bottom of your castle so that enemies cannot reach you easily.
Now that we have done that, we need to build some towers for our defenses! We will start with two towers on each side of our castle (one for archers and another for soldiers). These towers should be about 5 stories high with a small platform on top where archers will stand guard. On each floor below that platform there should be two archer pads facing outward so that they can shoot at any enemy coming their way!

The medieval castle is one of the most iconic buildings of all time. It has been depicted in art, literature and movies for centuries.
The medieval castle was built to protect the inhabitants from enemies and invasions. The main structure was surrounded by a wooden palisade that provided protection from arrows and other projectiles thrown by attackers.
The main building was made up of four corner towers connected by thick walls that served as a defense against siege weapons such as battering rams or huge catapults. In addition, there were smaller towers on each corner of the wall which had their own defenses such as arrow slits and murder holes where boiling oil could be poured on intruders trying to scale the walls.
The main entrance into the castle was through a gatehouse which consisted of two large wooden doors held together by iron bars called portcullises. This would be raised when someone wanted to enter or exit the castle but lowered during battle so that attackers couldn’t climb over it!
At the heart of every castle was its great hall where important guests could stay while visiting or where everyone would gather together for meals or celebrations such as Christmas or Easter!
