Terms of Service have become a hot button issue for online merchants. Panellists and legal experts attending the Shopify Unite conference in Toronto earlier this year spoke about this very topic. Shopify also recently released an updated set of Terms of Service (along with a summary document). You wouldn’t agree to a contract without reading it, but how well do you read these Terms of Service?

The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Shopify Payments service (the “Service”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Shopify may modify these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on its website.
