Server For Office 365 Outlook
The name that you’ll use to connect to the Exchange Online service. This is the same name that was used when you signed up for Office 365. If you don’t know your Office 365 account name, see Find your Office 365 admin account.
Outlook 365 smtp settings
You can set up your Outlook client with a mail server that uses either Internet SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) or an internal relay server. You can use either of these methods if you want to send email from Outlook without having to configure any additional settings in Exchange Online or on your computer. To configure Outlook for an Internet SMTP connection, follow these steps:
In Outlook, click File > Options > Accounts > Account Settings > More Settings > Advanced tab > Outbound Server tab. If the check box for Use my ISP’s outgoing mail server (SMTP) isn’t selected, select it. Fill in the Server Name and Port fields with values that correspond with those of your ISP’s outgoing mail server. The default port is 25, but it might be different depending on your ISP setting it up. Click OK twice
Exchange Server Name
The Exchange Server Name is the name of your Office 365 account. You will need to know this information in order to configure your email program.

Office 365 Exchange Server Name
The first thing you need to do is find out the name of your Office 365 Exchange Server. To do this, open Outlook, go to File > Account Settings and then click on the Account Settings button. A new window will open up and it will show you all of your accounts, including your Office 365 account.
You can also access this information by clicking on the File tab in Outlook and then selecting Account Settings from the menu that appears.
In either case, you’ll see a window similar to the one shown below:
If you want to access email from multiple devices at once, then you’ll need to set up your account as an IMAP account. If you only want to use one device at a time, then select PUSH instead. This will make sure that new emails are downloaded automatically to your computer when they arrive in your inbox.
In order to configure the Office 365 Outlook client, you will need to know the name of your Exchange server.
The general format for an Office 365 server name is:

Then click on the Admin option on the top right-hand side of the page and select “Exchange admin center” under “Admin centers”. In the left-hand navigation pane, select “Email” and then select “Exchange Online” from the list of options on the right side.
If you want to use Outlook as your client, you will need to configure it using SMTP settings provided by your service provider. For example, if you are using Office 365, go to https://portal.office.com and sign in with your work or school account. Then click on the Admin option on the top right-hand side of the page and select “Exchange admin center” under “Admin centers”.
