Pool grotto features
Pool grottos can be built in any shape or size, but the most popular shape is circular. It is also possible to build a square or rectangular pool grotto but these tend to be less popular than round ones.
The best way to build a pool grotto is by digging into the ground and building the walls up from there. This can be done with concrete blocks or bricks, depending on the design you want. If you want a more natural look, then bricks would be a better option than concrete blocks.
The walls of your pool grotto should be at least 1 foot thick and made from cement, stone or brick as this will help keep them strong and sturdy. The only thing that should go inside your wall is water – no soil or plants – as this could cause problems with flooding if there was an overflow!
Because it’s hard work digging into the ground, it is often easier to build your pool on top of an existing swimming pool instead of digging out new space underneath it. This means that you can make use of an existing pool instead of having to dig out one yourself before building your own swimming pool!
