If you don’t know how to build an igloo, obviously you are not living in Siberia. Fortunately for you, the title of this article does not ask ‘can you build an igloo’ because if that was the case then the answer would be obvious, and there is no reason to read further.
Building an igloo is easier than you might think. These small ice houses have been constructed throughout the past centuries, often due to necessity rather than recreational purposes. Igloos were once used as homes by Greenlandic Inuit tribes and are still widely used today in the harsh conditions of Canada’s far north.
How to build a igloo
Step 1: Get some snow blocks from snow biomes. Snow biomes are usually near the bottom of the world. The blocks will look like snowballs with white faces. It is recommended that you have at least seven blocks. If you have less than seven blocks, make more snow blocks by breaking snow blocks with a pickaxe or shovel. If you have more than seven blocks, skip this step.
Use your hands or tools to make an igloo shape out of snow blocks. You can also use a hammer to remove parts of the block if necessary. Make sure that your igloo has three blocks below it and one block above it so that we can place torches on top without falling through into lava!

How to Build a Snow Fort
