What is a long-term care facility?

A long-term care facility (LTCF) is a type of residential care home that provides 24-hour care and support for people who require assistance with activities of daily living. These include personal hygiene, getting dressed and feeding. LTCFs also provide supervision for residents who need help with their medication or may be at risk of falling.

The purpose of this business plan is to provide an overview of our company and our financial projections for the next three years. It is intended to help us seek funding from potential investors and lenders.

Our company provides residential care services to adults with mental illness, chemical dependency, chronic physical conditions or developmental disabilities. We currently operate two facilities in New York State, one that serves adults with mental illness and another that serves adults with developmental disabilities. The average length of stay in our facilities is approximately six months, although some residents are in residence for longer periods of time.

In order to expand our business, we will be opening a third facility near Binghamton, NY which will serve both adults with mental illness and adults with developmental disabilities. This new facility will increase our capacity by approximately 30 beds, allowing us to admit more residents than we could accommodate at either of our existing facilities.

A long-term care facility is a place where people with a chronic illness or disability are cared for by staff members. These facilities help their residents to stay as healthy as possible and achieve their highest level of independence.

This type of facility can be an independent living community, a nursing home or an assisted living facility.

Long-term care facilities provide residential care and treatment for individuals who need assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and eating. It is important to note that long-term care facilities are not intended for short-term rehabilitation or recovery.

In order to provide the best possible care for your clients, you need to know exactly what they want out of their experience at your facility. You can do this by asking them questions like:

What kind of amenities do you want?

What kind of activities do you want?

How will you feel about having roommates?
